How the Global Food Festival is giving back!
*This blog was written as part of my coursework at Conestoga College.
Welcome to the Global Food Festival, hosted by the Strategic Marketing Communication students of Conestoga College! Join us on March 27th at 3:00 PM in Conestoga College's Downtown Kitchener Campus for a fun-filled afternoon. P.S. It's a free event!
While we celebrate the different cultures that allow us to experience food in various delicious forms, we also recognize that not many have the same opportunity. That's why GFF has partnered with CSI to raise funds for the food bank and give back to those who genuinely need it.
THE CSI FOOD BANK INITIATIVE
The Conestoga Students Inc. has partnered with SNAP (Student Nutritional Access Program), an emergency food fund for students needing assistance. This program aims to provide nutritious food to students and support their health and wellness. You'll be able to learn more here.
The Global Food Festival aims to raise awareness and funds for the Student Nutriounal Access Program through CSI. Throughout the event, there will be multiple opportunities to donate to SNAP and specific donation stations where attendees can learn more about the emergency food fund, how to access it, and how to help!
If you need immediate assistance or are looking for ways to help, contact CSIfoodbank@conestogac.on.ca.
We look forward to seeing you on March 27th at 3:00 PM in Conestoga College's Downtown Kitchener Campus Student Lounge, where we will come together for a good cause and have fun. Register today; it's a free event!
